Manchester United are stepping up talks over a deal to bring Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez to Old Trafford, reports The Independent.
Though the Red Devils have ended their interest in one Real player – Alvaro Morata – the club remain keen on another, with James being lined up to replace the seemingly Everton-bound Wayne Rooney in their squad.
Madrid are keen to create room in their squad for Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe and value Colombia international James at €70 million.
